We’re excited to welcome new Open Studio members!
Membership is best for folks who already have clay experience and feel comfortable working on their own. If you’ve taken a Mudtown class—or already know your way around the studio—you’re ready to join. Read below for our two membership options.
Brand new to clay? We’d love to have you start with a class first, so you can learn the basics and feel confident creating in the studio. Peruse “Classes” to sign up.
UNLIMITED OPEN STUDIO MEMBERSHIP:
$210/month or $190/month if purchased annually
Unrestricted monthly access to Mudtown whenever the doors are open – no hourly or daily limits – inclusive of:
– 8 wheel stations and 16 hand-building spaces
– full use of studio tools, underglazes, and glazes
– unlimited firings ensure every project reaches the kiln
– choice of three clay bodies for purchase plus
– work with own materials (clays, glazes, lusters etc) with studio approval
– dedicated shelf keeps your clay and pieces organized
– one guest pass per month
– 10% off all classes
– opportunity to sell your work in Mudtown sales or our event booths

LIMITED OPEN STUDIO MEMBERSHIP:
$165/month or $156/month if purchased annually
Work on your schedule with up to 20 hours of studio access each month and enjoy:
– 8 wheel stations and 16 hand-building spaces
– full use of studio tools, underglazes, and glazes
– choice of three clay bodies for purchase (no option for own clays or glazes)
– fire as many as eight standard pieces (or four larger works) monthly
– keep everything organized on your own shelf with clay storage
– ability to fire additional pieces for a fee
